Are you afraid?
Prayer won’t always free us from the things that cause our fear but they can free us from our fear of those things!
Typically when we pray, especially when we pray about things that are causing us fear, we pray for God to remove those things. We ask God to rescue us, heal us, protect us and change our circumstances. All of those things are perfectly ok to pray for, and I believe there are times that God does do those things. But how many times do we pray for freedom from our fears?
God won’t always free us from the things that cause our fears but He can free us from our fear of those things. Prayer is the key to this process.
Psalm 34:4 says, I prayed to the Lord and he answered me. He freed me from all my fears.
