Baptism Sunday
Today is the last day to sign up for baptisms at Element Church for Sunday, November 4th.
This past Sunday we saw 18 people go public with their faith in Christ through baptism. Baptism is the outward expression of the inward work that God has done in our hearts.
When we go down in the water it symbolizes our dying with Christ and being washed of our sins. When we come up out of the water it symbolizes our being raised to new life in Christ.
Baptism isn’t just a cool event, it is THE next step Jesus calls us to make after putting our faith in Him and committing to follow Him. It is a sign of our surrender to His Lordship in our lives, submitting to His Word and His ways.
