Why Should I Care That God Draws People To Him?
This last Sunday at Element Church I preached a message called, “What should I know about the work of salvation?” Salvation is a word that we Christians throw around a lot, and well we should. The fact that Jesus came as one of us, died because of us and rose victorious to save us from the sin that we committed is something that should always be celebrated.
The problem is, I think sometimes we use the word “salvation” or “saved” without understanding all of the implications that brings to our life after we’re saved. Just because God does all the work of salvation, does not mean He doesn’t want to use us in the work of salvation. In fact, we said it this way: God might do all the work of salvation, but He wants to use us to accomplish the work!

When we say, “That person needs to be saved” or “I’m praying for their salvation,” we don’t just get to sit back and do nothing. God, in His Sovereignty, doesn’t have to use us but He chooses to!
