Why Does Communication Matter In Marriage?
Whatever you practice before marriage is what you are preparing for in marriage.
That was the Big Idea this last Sunday at Element Church as we continued our sermon series on relationships called, “It Takes Two”. In this series, we are walking through the Old Testament book of the Song of Solomon (Songs) and looking at God’s design for attraction, love, dating, marriage and sex. God doesn’t leave us in the dark when it comes to these areas of our lives. In fact, He shines a spotlight on it in this book.
Whatever you practice before marriage is what you are preparing for in marriage. Share on XI preached from Song of Solomon 2:8-3:5 and we asked the question, “What should I be practicing before marriage?” If what I practice before marriage affects what I’m preparing for in marriage, then we better know what it is we should be practicing. I’d hate to show up at the game having practiced all the wrong stuff to win. If we want to win in marriage then we need to practice the right things before it.
