Do You Have A Towel Or A Napkin

This past Sunday at Element Church we continued our sermon series called “Love Is Louder: Rising Above The Noise”.  In this series we are walking through 1 Corinthians 13 in the Bible, called the love chapter, and looking at what God says is real love.

We started the series saying, “If love is to be louder in my life then love must be the leader of my life.”  This week we said, “When love is the at the root in my heart then love will be the fruit of my heart.”  So, what is the fruit of love?

God, through the Apostle Paul said, “Love is not boastful or proud.”  In this clip below I talk through what this looks like practically.  If I’m going to not be boastful or proud then I will sacrifice for others.  I used a towel as an illustration of being in a posture of serving others or being served by others.

If you call Element Church “home” and would like to sign up to throw a towel over your arm and serve, you can do that HERE.  You can see all the different volunteer opportunities we have at Element by downloading this .pdf HERE.
