Hey Element Church! Meet Duane & Skylea, this week’s Volunteer(s) of the week Duane & Skylea were nominated by Andy, our Associate Pastor of Assimilation, who said this: “Duane & Skylea lead the Financial Peace University group on Sunday’s nights. They’ve lead the group for a few years and are incredibly passionate about helping people find financial freedom and to steward their God-given resources well. Even though they have 3 little ones, they make the time to invest into other people’s lives. I’m so grateful for their leadership.”
Duane & Skylea have attended Element Church for 2 years They have three kiddos that adore E:KIDZ, Gabriel (5), Gideon (3), Gia (5 months). Duane is a FE Warren Assistant Commons Manager & Skylea is a Stay at Home Mom. As a family they love hiking, winter sports, playing board games, and eating good food with good friends. Skylea loves anything artistic and creative, and Duane loves spreadsheets, running, and ultimate frisbee.
When asked why they serve here at Element, they said, “We have had a passion for leading Financial Peace University and The Legacy Journey for a number of years because it has greatly impacted our family and we love to see the transformation in other lives as well. We love to help people win with money, witness marriages be strengthened, see money stressors be minimized, and help family trees be changed forever. We serve because we often discuss, what could the people of God do for His Kingdom if they were debt-free?”
