Element Church: Volunteer Of The Week
Hey Element Church! This is Betty, and she is this week’s Volunteer Of The Week. Betty was nominated by our campus Pastor, Andy, who said this: “Betty serves on our Next Steps Team along with her husband Jeff. One of the things I appreciate so much about her is that she goes out of her way to serve guests. I can always find her walking along with a guest to help direct them to where they need to go.”
Betty has been attending Element for two years along with her husband Jeff, their 3 amazing daughters, 3 fantastic son-in-law’s and 5 wonderful grandchildren! She is a Mary Kay consultant and enjoys hiking, sewing and working out at the gym.
When asked why she serves at Element, Betty said, “I’ve always loved helping people and doing things for people. So for me to be able to serve here in church and to guide people where to go is a big blessing for me and it helps me with what God wants me to do for them. Teaches me to be more humble and to appreciate what God has given me.”
