Element Church: Volunteer Of The Week
Hey Element Church! This is Keith and he is this week’s Volunteer Of The Week! Keith serves on our safety team and also on the outreach team that serves the homeless called “One Reach”. Pastor Steve, our Outreach Pastor, said this about Keith: “Keith serves with OneReach on a bi-monthly basis. He is committed to our local homeless population and loves to cook hamburgers and hotdogs for them on our OneReach grill. Keith always has a smile on his face and loves to give to the needy in radically generous ways. He is a HUGE asset to the OneReach team and I love serving with him. His type of dedication is hard to come by and am honored to know him.”
Keith and his wife have been attending Element for five years now. His wife serves in e:kidz. He is a supervisor for Croell Aggregates and enjoys serving at Element with all the awesome volunteers (His words, and that’s awesome!).
When asked why he serves at Element, Keith said: “I haven’t been serving for that long and was quite surprised and honored when I heard I was chosen as volunteer of the week. I serve because it is what God has called me to do. When I signed up to serve I planned on serving when it was most convenient for me, now I plan my vacations around Sunday’s so I can serve. I love knowing what I do is helping others experience Christ. Ever since I began serving I have grown closer to God then I ever have been before in my life and it’s awesome!”
