Element Church: Volunteer Of The Week
Hey Element Church! This is Candi and she is this week’s Volunteer Of The Week!
Stephanie, our e:kidz director, said this about Candi: Candi has faithfully served on the checkin team in e:kidz for many years. She is reliable and prompt and quietly hilarious. When she is not at checkin, she can be seen around the church with her family, knitting a new project every week. Candi’s heart is huge and we are the lucky ones to have her serving with us.
Candi has been attending Element since April of 2008, with her husband and now four kids. Candy works for the school district at Arp Elementary and enjoys knitting, working out, reading and traveling.
When asked why she serves at Element she said: “I started serving because there was a need, and it’s something simple I can do to help my church. It makes me feel useful, in a way, I guess. It’s not really an obligation to me; it’s just part of my routine.”
Candi, it may be part of your routine but it is vital, what you do! Thank you for serving God through our church. IT MATTERS!
