Element Church: Volunteer Of The Week

Hey Element Church! Meet Terry, this week’s Volunteer Of The Week. Terry was nominated by Andy, our Associate Pastor, who said this: “Terry serves as our leader for Celebrate Recovery, which is an incredible ministry, as well as one of our Sunday Greeter Teams. Terry is incredibly faithful as a volunteer and passionate about serving everyone around him. We love having him as a part of our team!”

Terry has attended Element for 6 years with his wife JoEllen who serves in E:Kids, his daughter and son-in-law who serve on Worship Team and his Step Daughter and Step Son-in-law. He is an Outside Sales Rep for Industrial Distributor and is planning on retiring June 1st. He likes hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, and being a Celebrate Recovery leader (will celebrate 3 years himself on May 8th!!)

When asked why he serves at Element, Terry said, “I serve at Element to be a servant to God and Element Church. To be a small part of blessings that God’s grace has given me. I love this church and I am thankful in what this church has done in the early years of my recovery. I was given value and self worth and also treated like family. I met my christian wife here! Amen!”

Thanks Terry for all you do!  Not only have you grown in your recovery here but God is now using your story to help other men as well.  What you do MATTERS!
