The First Rule Of Conflict Resolution

Conflict resolution is only as strong as your willingness to face it resolutely!

On Sunday at Element Church we continued our sermon series on relationships called “It Takes Two.”  This last week we talked about conflict.  Every relationship has conflict.  Every marriage fights.  As both Tommy Nelson and Craig Groeschel say in their books on marriage, the key to fighting is to “fight fair”.  (The Book of Romance by Tommy Nelson and From This Day Forward by Craig Groeschel)

In our marriages, we will never truly learn to seek resolution unless we have resolved that resolution is the only answer.  When a conflict comes, and it will, no matter how big or how bad that conflict is, we’re going to learn to resolve it because there is no other option.

In the clip below we talk about the first, and perhaps the hardest rule in conflict resolution.  If you want to watch full sermons from Element you can go HERE.
