How Close To Sin Are You?

This past Sunday at Element Church we continued our sermon series called “My Declaration: A challenge for men to rise up”.  While the series is based off the book, “My Declaration“, which is targeted toward men, the principles and practices we are talking about in the series relate to all of us, regardless of gender.

This week, we walked through part of the story of Joseph found in Genesis 39.  We said, “The progress you make in your purpose is directly linked to the purity you choose to pursue.”  Nothing will derail the pursuit of God’s purpose in our lives more than our impurity.  So we asked the question, “How do we pursue purity in our purpose?”

The progress you make in your purpose is directly linked to the purity you choose to pursue. Share on X

In the clip below I talk about how Joseph refused to even get close to sin. If the opportunities for sin are already seeking us out, why in the world would we create more opportunities by choosing to get close to it ourselves?  You can watch full sermons HERE.
