How Do I Keep My Joy When Bad Things Happen?

This past Sunday at Element Church we continued our sermon series called “My Advent”.  In this series we’ve been asking the question, “What does Advent mean for me?”  This week we talked about joy.  We said, “Happiness is based on my circumstances but joy can be rooted in my heart.”   I preached from Philippians 4:4-5 and asked the question, “How do I get joy rooted in my heart?”

In this clip I teach on having the proper posture in my life.  Rejoicing in the Lord is choosing to have a posture of praise regardless of my position in life.  I share a statement that a friend of mine used that I think all of us should adopt into our life.  You can watch full sermons HERE.
