Submission In Marriage Is A Two Way Street
A thriving marriage doesn’t depend on moments, it is decided moment by moment.
This past Sunday at Element Church we concluded our sermon series on relationships called It Takes Two. My prayer is that all of us, regardless of our marital status, were able to take some clear steps ahead in our walk with Christ. Many of the principles we’ve talked about relate to all of our relationships in life.
To close out the series, we talked about living in a life-long, thriving marriage. I’m all for marriages that last, but I don’t just want a marriage that lasts, I want a marriage that thrives to the very end. So often though, we look for moments to see us through. Moments that will make our marriage thrive. But a thriving marriage doesn’t depend on moments, it is decided moment by moment.
