Where is your giving rooted?
On Sunday, we continued our vision series called “Vacation” by talking about giving! Generosity and vision go hand in hand. I’ve never seen a vision fulfilled without generous people committed to it, and the same is true with the church.

In this service, we updated everyone on where we are financially this year, which was a joy to do! We are in the best financial position we’ve ever been in as a church BECAUSE of the generosity of God’s people. In the message we said, “All that God needs, to accomplish, all He’s called us to do is already in the room.” The kicker is, we just need to give as God directs! So in talking about what we need to understand about giving, we looked at Exodus 35:1-24. In that passage, one of the things we see is that our giving needs to be rooted in love.
