Who I Am Is More Important Than Who I’m With

When it comes to relationships, who I AM is more important than who I’m WITH!

This past Sunday at Element Church we started a brand new series on relationships called “It Takes Two”.  In this series, we are walking through the book of Song of Solomon (Songs) in Scripture.  We’ll be watching a young couple in their story as they go from attraction to dating, engagement to the wedding night, work through conflict and experience a life-long and thriving marriage.

In week one we asked the question, “How do I keep from being distracted?”  This is such an important question in relationships because if desire becomes my focus, I’ll be distracted from being fulfilled.  Just because you’re married doesn’t mean you’re not distracted either.  In fact, if you’re not fulfilled without being married, marriage won’t fix your distraction it will actually fuel it.
